Metaverse will Integrate Real World with Digital Space, Microsoft CEO Says

For those of you who don’t know, Facebook has already changed its name and is now called Meta. Microsoft will be doing something similar, but instead of completely changing its name, the technology giant will be developing a new platform layer known as the Metaverse, according to the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella. This thing was unveiled at Ignite conference of the company. According to the full report, Microsoft will be launching 90 new services and updates in to reportedly three major areas, which also include powering on the Metaverse.

Some part of the project will also be working in close capacity with game developers as many new updates are expected to come out from Microsoft regarding games. There is this huge consideration for merging the real world with the digital simulation of it, and Facebook is already determined to bring virtual reality closer and in the hands of the people as it changes its primary name to Meta. Satya Nadella said that Microsoft is going to pursue the same strategy, but with a bit of a twist, the company will not be completely changing its name but developing a new platform for these kinds of directives.

This way, said the CEO of Microsoft real world could be incorporated into computing which is a marvel of its own as it would allow bringing the real presence of things into any digital space. This will completely change the way people interact with each other and the world around them; just think of the possibilities as they are practically limitless. You are sitting in your home, and you are able to explore a certain country or a place that you have never been into, intercepting it in virtual reality without any lag time or input interference.

This will indeed be the technology that would shape our modern world. Some of the updates regarding digital assets could also be expected from this giant update of Microsoft, as the company might be incorporating these either in the near future or working on a framework that would allow them to interact with cryptocurrencies in a safe fashion.
