Fong’s Celsius collapse chronicles

Fong has played a central role in the Celsius Network’s collapse, regularly updating her followers on the bankruptcy case via her YouTube channel and other social media platforms. She has shared confidential internal information that she alleges to have received from dissatisfied former employees of the bankrupt company on multiple occasions.

According to a statement released by Celsius’s legal team, they billed a total of 77 hours, amounting to $72,476, for the “Tiffany Fong Litigation” invoice.

In addition to disclosing the financial statement, Fong mentioned that she has approximately $119,000 worth of cryptocurrencies currently inaccessible due to the collapse of the Celsius Network. As per a screenshot she posted, her portfolio on the platform comprises $94,568 worth of BTC, $24,306 worth of ETH, and $439 worth of MATIC.

Since the cryptocurrency lender Celsius Network went bankrupt and left its customers with frozen assets, Fong is said to have published more than 20 videos denouncing the firm beginning in June 2022.

Frustration turned media storm

Reportedly, Tiffany Fong did not plan to become a key figure in the Celsius Network crisis. Her initial intention was to voice her disappointment over her locked funds. However, her tweets, along with those of other customers, sparked a media frenzy that drew the attention of U.S. politicians. Her subsequent activities, including an interview with Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) at the U.S. Congress, have received widespread media coverage.

Celsius Network has made no official announcement about any legal action taken against Fong. Nevertheless, the court filing gives the impression that the corporation’s legal team is investigating the material Fong improperly disclosed via her various social media outlets.
