Solana ‘Chapter 2’ Airdrops Likely Covering Phone’s Price
Solana ‘Chapter 2’ smartphone pre-order clients are witnessing benefits as they await the phone’s anticipated unveiling next year, owing to a cat-enhanced bonus of token airdrops.
The teams behind Maneki (MANEKI) distributed airdrops to eligible customers. Also, various wallets benefited from the Cat in a Dogs World (MEW) specifically those who pre-requested Chapter 2. These tokens might offset the phone’s entire cost of $450 if their market value is maintained.
Nearly 38,000 MEW Tokens Airdropped
37,600 MEW were airdropped to qualified Solana wallets on April 1, while 5,199 MANEKI were sent to the same wallets on April 3. On April 4, MANEKI hit an all-time high, increasing 71.6% to $0.02 following the airdrop news. On March 31, MEW attained an all-time high. At present, it is down 10.4%.
On the morning of April 25, the two meme coins’ overall value was $459, higher than the earlier price unveiled with the device at the start of the year. At this time, the MANEKI and MEW tokens offered to pre-order wallets’ value was $359.
Further, Solana Chapter 2 purchasers have acquired 114,858,914.9661 Wuffi tokens with an estimated $24.76 and 800,000 iq50 (IQ50) tokens worth an estimated $16.29.
Buyers Benefit From 20 Million CWIF
The buyers also received 20 million Catwifhat (CWIF) tokens approximated at $4.96. That adds approximately $46 to the total haul, resulting in an overall cost of just over $405.
The most recent Chapter 2 airdrops are cat-themed. However, a dog-themed token stimulated the original Saga sellout. BONK is a dog-themed meme coin that gave 30 million tokens to every Saga purchaser. As December approached, it had acquired significant value to the extent of being valued at more than the phone’s price.
The sales frenzy resulted in other Solana projects offering up free and nonfungible tokens to Saga owners. This fuelled further interest in Solana Lab’s smartphone efforts. Besides, it boosted Chapter 2’s demand.
