Over $320M Worth of Tokens are Set to Unlock This Month

Seventeen token unlocks will happen in April, releasing more than $320 million in various tokens into circulation. That’s according to data from the Token Unlocks platform.

Largest Three Unlocks

BIT is set to conduct the biggest token unlock in April. It will release 187,500,200 tokens worth $96.2 million on April 15.

APECoin (APE) comes in second with over 15.1 million tokens worth $66.5 million scheduled to be unlocked on April 17. The figure represents 1.5% of APE’s total supply.

Aptos (APT) ranks third with 4.5 million tokens worth $52.2 million set to be released on April 12.

The combined value of these three token unlocks stands at $214.9 million. They account for 63% of the total amount scheduled to be released this month.

Other Unlocks in April

On April 5, Galxe (GAL) and 1 inch (1INCH) will release 416,676 and 287,100 tokens worth $147,390 and $725,760, respectively.

Tornado Cash (TORN) will unlock its 160,125 tokens worth $1.12 million on April 7. Meanwhile, DyDx (DYDX) and Moonbean (GLMR) are set to release about 11.8 million tokens and 6.6 million tokens worth $4.6 million and $15.2 million, respectively, on April 11.

Euler (EUL) will release 120,350 tokens worth $420,000 on April 12, while Sweat Economy (SWEAT) will unlock 129.2 million tokens worth $1.11 million the following day. On April 14, Nym (NYM) will release 12.3 million tokens worth $2.95 million.

Releasing 1.95 million tokens worth $32 million is Axie Infinity (AXIE). The unlock is set for April 17. Immutable X (IMX) will release 12.5 million tokens worth $18.7 million on April 22, followed by Acala (ACA) unlock of 4.1 million tokens worth $447,000 on April 25.

Three unlocks are scheduled for April 27. They include Ronin (RON), which will release over 410 million tokens worth $35.4 million; Yield Guild Games (YGG), which is set to unlock 16.6 million tokens worth $4.23 million; and finally, X2Y2 (X2Y2), which will release 12.5 million tokens worth $680,000.

March Vs. April Token Unlocks

This month’s token unlocks are lower in value compared to March’s unlocks, where eighteen crypto projects released tokens worth more than $650 million into circulation.
