All of the FTX Movies and TV Series Currently in Production

The collapse of the cryptocurrency exchange FTX has been spotlighted more than any other such events in the history of the world of digital currencies. Many newspapers and magazines have devoted pages to the collapse of the company.

The main characters in the story are the firm’s founding member, SBF, and his colleagues, including Gary Wang and Caroline Ellison.

Eventually, Hollywood is inevitably fascinated by the narrative. Bankman-Fried is currently facing criminal allegations that may land him in prison for more than 130 years. It is like any film that promises a grand climax in the court.

The Failing Tycoons Featured Movies Witness Great Success Rate

Recent years have witnessed success in the entertainment sector. These movies and television shows have highlighted failing entrepreneurs like “The Wolf of Wall Street .”The story of FTX shows how all the circles in the Venn diagram overlap perfectly. As a result, it’s hardly a surprise that companies are rushing to release movies, TV shows, and documentaries on SBF’s collapse.

The version of the book of Michael Lewis on SBF is perhaps the most high-profile FTX projects currently underway. The partnership is still continuing even after Bankman’s arrest.

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Lewis has been shopping the television and film rights to the book and that Apple is “nearing a deal” in the mid-seven-figure area. According to industry publications, additional partners involve Amazon Studios and David Heyman.

According to CAA agent Matthew Snyder, while Lewis’ book was planned to emphasize Fried’s rise and adoption of the “effective altruism” ideology, the fall of FTX offered a “dramatic surprise climax to the tale.

Many Companies Aim to Film the Collapse of FTX

Amazon Studios has hurriedly ordered a serial from Anthony Russo and  Joe, the filmmakers of the past two “Avengers” films, for its own FTX project.

Movie trade publication Variety reports that the Russo brothers are in talks to produce and executive create the eight-episode thriller. They are making it under their business ABGO.

There have been rumors in the news that “several Marvel stars” have talked about being on the show. But there has yet to be an official casting decision. In a statement about Sam Bankman-Fried, the Russo brothers called him “an extraordinary character with complicated and maybe dangerous goals.”

G Moore Project

Oscar-winning screenwriter Graham Moore (The Imitation Game) is developing a film adaptation of the feature story. He wrote the story for New York Magazine about the fall of FTX. The decision has yet to be made by Moore whether the production will be a movie or a TV show.

New York Magazine Project

Vox Media and New York Magazine are teaming up to create a documentary about Bankman-defunct Fried’s cryptocurrency enterprise. According to Deadline, the movie would feature Bahamian and American journalists and sources.

XTR Project
